Main Line is where all the mansions are, so I get the impression that everything is incredibly safe. I love the fact that Philly is a 20 min. I had a great time attending fall preview day. I got the sense that the school really wants to ensure that whoever is offered a spot in the freshman class will be happy here.

I felt overwhelmed positively with the friendliness of the student and I was pleasantly surprised by the diversity where I come from, there are no Asians. I liked the friendly atmosphere at the school and the feeling that students really care about other students. I felt that the admissions officers might even discourage students from applying if Bryn Mawr if the "fit" didn't feel right this actually didn't happen, but I know that they would not be afraid to do so because it will only create a healthier lifestyle for the college and the student.

With that said, the one thing that caught me off guard was the prevalance of the honor code. It is very real and it scared me. To be honest, I am extremely unmotivated. The only reason why I get good grades in high school is because of my drive to beat other people.

At Bryn Mawr, the honor code prevents this, instead emphasizing intristic competiton competition against oneself.
